Our client, a well-established law firm in Laval, is currently looking for a Legal Assistant in labour law for an indefinite-term contract.

YOUR ROLE:
As a Legal Assistant, you will assist lawyers in labour law, your tasks will include
Preparing all legal documentation related to labour and employment law;
Managing communication by drafting letters, emails, and notes to lawyers and clients;
Transcribing opinions;
Transmitting proceedings to various courts;
Preparing various documents such as binders of proceedings, exhibits, authorities;
Performing data entry into various database;
Filing paper and electronic documents;
Managing the agenda and telephone calls, coordinating and organizing appointments for lawyers;
Ensuring the opening, closing, preparation, follow-up and organization of files.
REQUIRED SKILLS :
Legal secretarial training or related experience ideally in a large major law firm;
Minimum knowledge of litigation required;
Excellent knowledge of the MS Office Suite;
Excellent written and verbal communication in French;
Flexibility, thoroughness, ability to manage several files at the same time;
Good organizational and adaptability skills;
Excellent customer service and teamwork.
